Law enforcement officials are remaining tight-lipped regarding an investigation into what may be a human skull discovered Monday morning at a location in northern Howard County.
A press release issued by the Howard County Sheriff's Office Monday morning advised law enforcement officials were called to the scene around 11 a.m. at an undisclosed location in northern Howard County after what appears to be a piece of a human skull was found.

The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
â€˘ SAMUEL RAY SEGUNDO III, 19, of 503 Washington Blvd., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor.
â€˘ JIMMY RAY WATSON, 19, of 2601 Chanute, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor.
â€˘ CHRISTOPHER KENT BROOKS, 20, of 2309 Allendale, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor.
â€˘ HUTTON TAYLOR EVANS, 19, of 3103 Mountain Shadow, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor.
Jack Hanson, 87, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at the Veterans Administration Hospital. The family will receive friends from 6: p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel with the Rev. Elwin Collum and Jackie Hanson officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.
