A fire in the 900 block of N. Gregg reported Wednesday afternoon caused approximately 200 homes on Big Spring's north side to lose electrical service, but no injuries or serious property damage was reported as a result.
According to Big Spring Fire Marshal Carl Condray, the fire was reported in an alley in the 900 block of N. Gregg Street at approximately 5:32 p.m.
The whole idea behind it is to touch someone's heart, which only makes the name more fitting: The Heart Gallery.
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services began the Heart Gallery, a traveling photo collection of children waiting for adoption, in 2001.
“The idea is that someone will see these photos and want to adopt one of these children,” said Rebecca Moughon, chairperson of the Howard County Child Welfare Board.
