Law enforcement officials say it could be some time before pathology reports are back and investigators have more information on the human remains found March 20 at McMahon-Wrinkle Airpark.
According to Sgt. Tony Everett, public information officer with the BSPD, the investigation is ongoing.
âIt could be three or four weeks, or it could be two or three months. There's really no way to know how long it will take to get results back at this point,â Everett said. âAll we can do right now is wait for the reports.â

The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today:
â¢ ISMAEL HOLGUIN, 44, of Stanton, was arrested Monday on a charge of driving while intoxicated â second offense.
â¢ ERLINDA EVERTTE RIOS, 24, of 1906 Winston St., was arrested Monday on a charge of criminal mischief â more than $1,500 and less than $20,000.
â¢ TIFFANY ELDER, 30, of 2600 Langley, was arrested Monday on a charge of tampering/fabricating physical evidence.
Kenneth Reed, 51, of Terrell passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012, in Salt Lake City, Utah. A service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012, at the Veteran's Memorial in Terrell with military honors.
Kenneth was born Sept. 17, 1960, in Big Spring to William A. and Melva Jeane Reed.
He was preceded in death by his father, William A. (Pete) Reed; and his sister, Jerri.
Brenda Robertson, 63, of Big Spring died Monday, March 26, 2012, in Midland. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
