The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. today:
â€˘ VICTOR JOE TODD, 47, of 1301 Mt. Vernon, was arrested Sunday on a charge of public intoxication.
â€˘ KEVIN LEE DUNLAP, 34, of 3312 Auburn, was arrested Sunday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
â€˘ MARK MATTHEW LINDEM, 34, of 2506 Kelly Circle, was arrested Sunday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
â€˘ ASSAULT was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87.
â€˘ THEFT was reported in the 1000 block of N. Main Street.
Billy Wayland "B. W." Cunningham, 78, of Big Spring died April 13, 2012, in Midland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, at the Birdwell Lane Church of Christ with Ralph Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
Christina Louise Stallings Garrard, 39, of Big Spring died Friday, April 13, 2012, at her residence. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Chapel.
She was born June 19, 1972, in Hollis, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Big Spring for 21 years, coming from Tye, Texas. In addition to a homemaker, she was a bookkeeper and office manager for Four Seasons.
Tommy Liedtke, 86, of Amarillo, died Friday, April 13, 2012, in Big Spring. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Internment will be at Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas.
Tommy was born July 11, 1925, in Paducah, Texas. He married Naomi Boykin Feb. 28, 1944 in Paducah, Texas. She preceded him in death Jan. 31, 1983.
The couple moved from Paducah to Amarillo in 1952 and lived there for 60 years. Mr. Liedtke served in the United States Army during World War II in the European theater.
William M. "Bill" Skiles, 95, of Big Spring, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 in a local hospital. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.

Madison Fields, was chosen for The Spotlight on Excellence Award from the 6th grade class at Marble Falls Middle School.
She is the daughter of Clark and Melissa Fields of Marble Falls, formerly from Big Spring, and the granddaughter of Alton and Becky Fields also of Marble Falls and formerly of Big Spring.
She is also the granddaughter of Jimmy and Sandy Shanks and great granddaughter of Frances Ringener, and Wade and Dorothy Shanks, all of Big Spring.
She was chosen for this award from approximately 315 students in the 6th grade.
Jeffery Curtis Dunlap, 32, of Coahoma died Friday, April 13, 2012, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.

Kenneth Wayne Hartmann, 47, of Big Spring died Friday, April 13, 2012, in a Grapevine hospital. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
