Area residents who received their property tax appraisals this year may find themselves with a case of sticker shock, as officials with the Howard County Appraisal District say higher market values are driving up valuations in the Crossroads area.

The parade is on again.
After a year's absence, the Big Spring Cowboy Reunion and Rodeo will have a parade — at a cooler time.

The rodeo opens Thursday, June 21, and ends Saturday, June 23 with nightly performances at the Big Spring Rodeo Bowl.
