Mary Virginia Womack, 88, of Coahoma, Texas died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, in a Lubbock hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Monroe Teeters officiating. Interment will follow at Coahoma Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at the funeral home.
Mary was born May 3, 1925, in Colorado City, Texas and married J. P. "Pete" Womack Jan. 30, 1951, in Lovington, N.M. He preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1993.
Three people were arrested after an early morning drug bust in the west end of Big Spring today.
Big Spring narcotics officers, backed by the combined police/sheriff's office Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team, executed a search warrant at Apartment 10 of Tanglewood Apartments, 3304 W. Highway 80, around 4:30 a.m. today, said Big Spring Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Tony Everett.
Caleb S. Hector, 19, of Big Spring, died Friday, Sept.27, 2013, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. The family received friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at Spring Creek Fellowship with Pastor Lloyd Wells and Pastor Derrick Looney officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
