Ryan Foust and Keri Guthrie, both of Big Spring, proudly announce their engagement to wed. Keri is the daughter of Bennie Green of Big Spring and Kim Green of Lamesa. Both Ryan, and Keri are members of College Baptist Church. Ryan is a 2007 graduate of Big Spring High School and Keri is a 2006 graduate of Big Spring High School.

Stephanie Gil and Morgan Lee Barron, both of Big Spring will exchange wedding vows at 5 p.m. Dec. 28, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church in Coahoma located at 401 N. Main St.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Big Spring High School and is the daughter of Martha Patricia Gil. The groom is a 2004 graduate of Coahoma High School and is the son of Donna and Wayne Barron.

Margarita Ross, 86, of Big Spring, died Friday Dec. 13, 2013, at her residence. Vigil services will be Sunday 7 p.m. at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be Monday 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish with Monsignor Bernard Gully officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
She was born to Polycarpia and Concepcion Carrillo Jan. 1, 1927, in Coahoma, Texas, and was a lifetime resident of Howard County. She married Robert Ross Sept. 9, 1947, in Big Spring. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish

Donald Koerber

Donald Koerber, 71, of Big Spring, died Thursday in an Odessa Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
He was born April 15, 1942, in Wichita, Kan.,  and married Aloma Kay Graves June 10, 1960, in Phoenix, Ariz. She preceded him in death Dec. 14, 2008.
He was a Christian.

Betty Jane Weaver

Betty Jane Weaver, formerly of Sand Springs, passed away Dec. 9 at the age of 91 after a lengthy illness.
She was a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Weaver) Hubbard of St. Leon, Ind.; two sons, Richard George Weaver of Eunice, La., and Robert Orin Weaver of Lubbock, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Claude Hayden

Claude Hayden Roberts, 86, of Bangs, Texas, passed away Dec. 12, 2013, in a Brownwood hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16 at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early, Texas. Pastor Daniel Vasquez of Victory Life Church in Brownwood, Texas, will be officiating.
