Bessie V. Flores, 45, of Big Spring died Thursday, March 14, 2013, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at the Salvation Army with Majors Orville and Debra Chambless officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
She was born March 20, 1967, in Big Spring, Texas and married Luis Flores June 12, 1991, in Coahoma, Texas.
A lifelong resident of Big Spring, Bessie was a member of the Salvation Army, where she worked as a social worker for many years and was a Corps Sgt. Major for the Church.
Adela Dominguez, 66, of Big Spring died Friday, March 15, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Rosewood Chapel.
A vigil service will be 7 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the Nalley Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
She was born May 9, 1946, in Fort Davis, Texas, and married Manuel Dominguez July 25, 1964, in Big Spring. He preceded her in death May 18, 2011.
Mrs. Dominguez was a lifelong resident of Big Spring. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.
Dewey Byers, 78, of Big Spring died Friday, March 15, 2013 at his residence. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
James "Jimmy" Pedigo, 82, of Big Spring died Saturday, March 16, 2013 in a local nursing home. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.

The director of the local water district expressed enthusiastic approval of a measure which would establish a $2 billion water project fund for Texas communities.
Thursday, the Texas House Natural Resources Committee approved a plan that would move the money from the state's Rainy Day Fund and create the State Water Infrastructure Fund of Texas. The fund would provide bond money for new reservoirs, water pipelines and conservation projects.
The committee approved the measure unanimously.
One of this area's finest artists has her work on display through April at Heritage Museum.
“Visions,” a collection of work by Leada Wood, is on display now through April 27, Museum Director Nancy Raney said. Also, a select group of her works will be available for purchase.
A reception in Wood's honor will be held from 6-8 p.m. March 22 at the museum.
The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• MICHAEL DAVID BOOTH, 23, of 1408 Robin, was arrested Thursday on charges of violation of a protective order – assault/stalking and burglary of a habitation with intent to commit other felony.
• ROY DALE HUTCHESON, 29, of Levelland, Texas, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• BRYAN HARP, 35, of 206 S. Owens, was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency.

In the 800 block of S. Owens.
Judy Graham, 70, of Tarzan died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Hospice of Midland Inpatient Unit. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton. Visitation was Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Myers & Smith Chapel.
She was born Sept. 8, 1942, in Gregton, Texas, to Lee and Carol Hammon. She married Freddie Graham March 3, 1960, in Big Spring. She was a long-time resident of Howard and Martin counties and worked in the public schools as a custodian and substitute teacher for Grady ISD. She was a Baptist.
Charles Graham Lacy, 63, of Brenham passed away March 14, 2013, at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Glenn Gaines officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
