If you want to be a Comanche Warrior now is the time to show your stuff.
The 2013 Comanche Warrior Triathlon will be held Saturday in Comanche Trail Park and it's not too late to register, according to event organizer Debbie Wegman.
âIf they haven't registered yet we'll have registration Friday (today) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.,â said Wegman. âWe have about 50 registered so far.â

COAHOMA â Football, pageantry and dress-up days at school â it must be homecoming week.
Coahoma High School became the first Howard County school system to celebrate homecoming, which culminates tonight with the crowning of the homecoming queen.
Five senior girls will vie for the honor. They are:
â˘ Kyla Clinton, daughter of Randy and Tricia Clinton.
â˘ Savannah Neff, daughter of Cindy and Clay Smith and David Neff.
â˘ Breann Castillo, daughter of Raul and Cheryl Castillo.
â˘ Sarah Melendez, daughter of Isidro and Teresa Melendez.
â˘ Shayla Martin, daughter of Danny and Kim Martin.
Don D. Roman, 75, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at his residence. Funeral services will be held atÂ 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Revs. Walter McCall and Joey Bacon officiating. Interment will follow at Coahoma Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at the funeral home.
He was born Sept. 22, 1937, in Tahoka, Texas. Don married Beth Kuykendall Nov. 19, 1988, in Big Spring, Texas.
Donna Mann, 60, of Big Spring died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Hospice House in Odessa. Private family services will be held at a later date.
She was born April 18, 1953, in Odessa to Clona and Donald Allison. She had been in Big Spring for seven years after moving from Burleson, Texas. She had worked as a nail tech and was known for loving her family and friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelsey White and husband Tyler of Brady; two sons, Jimmy Allison and Toby Golden of Big Spring; one brother, Bruce Johnson of Arkansas; and one granddaughter.
