SNYDER, Texas — Area investigators, including the FBI and Texas Rangers, are investigating the scene where a badly decomposed body was found Saturday near Lake J.B. Thomas in Scurry County, about 33 miles north of Big Spring.
News sources said that as of this morning, authorities have not decided whether to send the body to Tarrant or Lubbock County for an autopsy.

FORSAN — Residents in the Forsan Independent School District will get a chance to sound off about the upcoming school bond election Thursday.
A public meeting has been scheduled to address issues raised by the proposed bond at 6 p.m. Thursday in Elbow Elementary, FISD Superintendent Randy Johnson said.
Architects from Parkhill, Smith & Cooper will be on hand with a presentation on construction plans and to answer questions, Johnson noted.
FISD trustees voted in February to hold an election in May. They are asking voter approval of a $23.8 million bond.

Business is good at the Big Spring Airport and officials are taking steps to make sure business gets even better in the future.
Airport Director Jim Little said Friday he has received confirmation from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) concerning the agency's plan to provide most of the funds for the construction of a T hangar at the facility.
A T hangar is a long building divided into sections. Each section would be big enough to house an aircraft.
The Howard County Elections Administration will be getting a new office, however, voters won't have to look far from the old location to find early voting polls in April.
The elections office — which has been located on the third floor of the Howard County Courthouse for the past several years — will be moving to the former sheriff's office on the first floor of the courthouse Monday, according to County Elections Administrator Saundra Bloom.
The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity:
• CRYSTAL RAMIREZ MUNO, 26, 703 Lancaster, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
• CESAR LOPEZ, 21, 607 Douglas, was arrested on charges of purchasing/furnishing alcohol for a minor and failure to give identifying informaton.
• RILEY ERIK WOOD, 21, 1904 E. 25th, was arrested on a charge of purchasing/furnishing alcohol for a minor.
• CALVIN JACOB LAWSON, 29, 3701 La Juna, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief over $500/less than $1,500.
LUBBOCK — Mrs. Nelda Jo Fuller, age 86, of Lubbock and formerly of Colorado City died Thursday afternoon, March 14, 2013, in a Lubbock care facility. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, in the Kiker-Seale Chapel with Royce Clay officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Services for Bettie Gross Crow Pettus, age 83, of Jacksonville are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Calvary Baptist Church, Jacksonville, with Pastor Michael Mathis and the Rev. Bob Huddleston officiating.
Interment will follow in Jarratt Cemetery, under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Bettie died Friday, March 15, 2013.
She was born April 18, 1929, in Big Spring, Texas.
Mrs. Pettus was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She was the wife of two Baptist ministers.
Bessie V. Flores, 45, of Big Spring died Thursday, March 14, 2013, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at the Salvation Army with Majors Orville and Debra Chambless officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
She was born March 20, 1967, in Big Spring, Texas and married Luis Flores June 12, 1991, in Coahoma, Texas.
A lifelong resident of Big Spring, Bessie was a member of the Salvation Army, where she worked as a social worker for many years and was a Corps Sgt. Major for the Church.
Adela Dominguez, 66, of Big Spring died Friday, March 15, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Rosewood Chapel.
A vigil service will be 7 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the Nalley Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
She was born May 9, 1946, in Fort Davis, Texas, and married Manuel Dominguez July 25, 1964, in Big Spring. He preceded her in death May 18, 2011.
Mrs. Dominguez was a lifelong resident of Big Spring. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.
Dewey Byers, 78, of Big Spring died Friday, March 15, 2013 at his residence. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
