Martha Lee Schwab, 82, of Big Spring, Texas, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
She was born March 7, 1931 in Hinton, Okla., and married Carl Schwab Feb. 12, 1985 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death March 11, 2004.
Martha was a very loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed and cherished every moment she spent with her family. Martha has been a part of the Big Spring community for several decades.
Eliseo M. Gamboa, 82, of Big Spring, Texas died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, in Big Spring, Texas. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Brother Gabriel Garza officiating. Mr. Gamboa was one of Jehovahâ€™s Witnesses for 71 years.
Hubert Uptergrove, 96, of Big Spring, Texas, died Thursday, Jan. 02, 2014, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Dr. Doug Shelley, pastor of East Side Baptist Church, officiating.
He was born May 12, 1917, at Sayre, Okla. He married LaVerna Hale on July 10, 1962, in Stillwell, Okla. He was a retired rancher and moved to Big Spring 10 years ago from Maryneal, Texas.
Juan Molina Garcia, 58, of Big Spring died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center.Â Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
