Carl Bacon, 77, of Coahoma, died Sunday, April 20, 2014, in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel, with Rick Cunningham officiating.

Carl was born March 26, 1937, in Mitchell County, Texas and married Annita Thompson June 29, 1991, in Coahoma. He worked for Weaver Services in Snyder for more than 20 years and loved cabinetry. He was a Christian.

Albert Lee Ortega

Albert Lee Ortega, 46, of Big Spring, died Monday, April 21, 2014, at his residence.

He was born April 22, 1967, in Big Spring, Texas. He graduated from Big Spring High School in 1985 and attended Aladdin Beauty College. He moved to Arizona in 2002 and returned to Big Spring in 2008.

Survivors include four brothers, Jose O. Ortega, Sammy Ortega and Rudy Ortega, all of Big Spring and Carlos Ortega of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Mary Lou Ortega Puga of Big Spring; and numerous nieces and nephews.
