Big Spring softball head coach John Sparks believes Jillian Valle is his go-to hitter right now.
She proved why that may be the case Tuesday afternoon.
Valle’s game-winning home run in the seventh inning pushed the Lady Steers past Greenwood, 6-5 at home Tuesday.
It was her second home run of the game. She finished the day going 3 for 3 with three RBIs.
Sparks said Valle was as clutch as she could be. The Lady Steers were on their last out when Valle hit the bomb.
