Forsan's moving down, Coahoma's moving west and Big Spring is pretty much staying put.
The University Interscholastic League's biennial realignment of Texas high schools didn't produce many changes in classifications, but likely added plenty of expenses to school's travel budgets.
This latest realignment takes effect with the 2012-2013 school year.
The school affected the least by realignment is Big Spring High School, which will remain in Class 3A for the next two years.

Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce Man and Woman of the Year â€” Marc Marchesseault and Sherry Hodnett â€” have been on board with hometown pride all year long.
The two, along with Hero of the Year, were recognized Tuesday at the annual Chamber banquet.
Marchesseault not only made his contributions while serving at Webb Air Force Base, but returned to Big Spring after his military career and continued giving to the community.
â€śI never met a person so adept at hiding civic accomplishments,â€ť a nomination letter said about Marchesseault.

â€˘ JAMERE RAYSHAD COOPER, 23, of 3706 Boulder Dr., was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for failure to maintain financial responsibility.
â€˘ RIANNON LEE HENSON, 27, of 2001 S. Monticello, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for speeding.

The Big Spring Steers and Lady Steers followed similar scripts to victory against Sweetwater Tuesday â€“ struggle early, use defense and three-point shooting to take the lead, then blow matters wide open in the second half.
The results were anything but boring for BSHS fans â€“ the Lady Steers claimed a 53-31 win, while the Steers raced to a 48-37 victory in District 5-3A action for both teams.
The Lady Steers improved to 20-8 overall, 3-3 in district play, while the Steers are now 13-16, 3-3.

Longtime friend and supporter of SouthWest Collegiate Institute for the Deaf, Dominick “Dom” Bonura, will be stepping in as the interim provost at the SWCID campus effective immediately.
The fire that destroyed a home in the 400 block of Lancaster late Saturday night has been ruled suspicious, according to Big Spring Fire Marshal Carl Condray, but the cause remains under investigation.
Condray said the home, which was located at 404 Lancaster and had been vacant for several years, was a total loss.
â€śThe home was unoccupied at the time of the fire. There had been transient activity through the home for several years,â€ť Condray said. â€śIt's being treated as a suspicious fire at this time.â€ť

â€˘ GARY MONTEZ, 21, of 1018 Ridgeroad St., was arrested Monday on a warrant for theft less than $50.
Donald Herff McGonagill, 84, of Big Spring, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, in San Angelo. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Mark Lindsey and the Rev. Mike Couch of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at the funeral home.
Don was born Feb. 16, 1927, in Melvin, Texas, to Herff and Floy (Farnsworth) McGonagill.
Donald Eugene (Don) Smith, age 81 of Seguin formerly of Big Spring, passed away Jan. 30, 2012. Visitation will begin Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at 10 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Robert K. Odom officiating. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery.
Don was born May 13, 1930, in Big Spring,Texas, to John Henry and Clara Elma Page Smith. His wife Geri Smith and his parents preceded him in death.
