Lindsey Nicole Hattenback and Gordon Carroll Gooding were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at 7 p.m. The ceremony was held at Saint Anne's Catholic Church in Houston. The Rev. Jay Walsh officiated.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at The Courtyard on St. James. On the even of the wedding the groom's parents hosted a dinner at The Grove in downtown Houston.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hattenbach of Midland. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Gooding of Texarkana.
Nicole Davidson and Trey Harris both of Big Spring, exchanged wedding vows June 13, 2011, at 10 a.m. in the Howard County Courthouse.
The bride is the daughter of Scott and Kathy Davidson of Big Spring and the granddaughter of Patricia Tate of Big Spring and Kaye Davidson of Austin.
She was part of the Big Spring High School graduating class of 2011 and will attend college in Hawaii.
The groom is the son of Stacey Harris of Big Spring and the grandson of Gary and Bethany Sleight of Big Spring.
Kara Fraley of Ft. Worth and Cris Colegrove of Hobbs, NM, announce the birth of their son, Conner Ryan Colegrove.
Conner was born July 8, 2011 at 11:11 a.m. He weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and measured 19 inches long.
His maternal grandparents are Trent and Norma Fraley. Paternal grandfather is Jesse Colegrove.
Dianna Marie Barraza and Tyler Shane Gregg, both of Big Spring, announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Delia and Thane Hoyte, both deceased of Southworth, Wash. She is a 2007 Big Spring High School graduate. She is employed at Woodforest National Bank.
The prospective groom is the son of Jane and step-father, Dean Jajko of Riverside, NJ and Jackie and step-mother, Mary Gregg of Big Spring. He is former student of Big Spring High School and 2008 graduate of Rancocas High School in Eastampton, NJ. He is employed at Jack Cathey Construction.
Reservoirs aren't the only things running low these days, as city officials warn that residents caught violating water restrictions in the face of a region-wide shortage are going to find patience for their wasteful ways a long-gone commodity.
Chad Averette, director of the city's Code EnforcmentOffice, said the city will be taking a zero-tolerance approach to violations to mandatory water restriction.
A Big Spring man found guilty of possession of cocaine by a 118th District Court jury in March 2009 had his conviction affirmed by the 11th District of Texas Court of Appeals this month, upholding his multi-year prison sentence.
Jesse Woodruff, 23, was sentenced to 12 years in the Texas Department of Corrections after being convicted of possessing more than 17 grams of crack cocaine during a traffic stop in October 2008. The trial took just one day.

â€¢ JIMMY RAY WILLIS JR., 41, of 303 Spring Creek Rd., was arrested Monday on warrants for theft and criminal mischief.
â€¢ BUCK BENNETT CHAPPELL JR., 38, of 1200 Madison, was arrested Monday on a warrant for theft.
â€¢ ALEX FERRELL PAREDEZ, 19, of 903 E. 16th St., was arrested Monday on a warrant for theft.
Graveside services for Johnnie Randolph, 77, of Lamesa will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday July 20, 2011, at Lamesa Memorial Park with Clifton Igo officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home in Lamesa. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Johnnie died Sunday July 17, 2011 in Big Spring. He was born on Jan. 13, 1934 in Seminole, Texas.
Funeral services for Clifton Ray Price of Lenorah will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Msgr. Tim Schwertner officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas. Clifton passed away July 16, 2011 in Odessa, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 12, 1955 in Stephenville, Texas.
Mark "Anthony: Torres, 34 of Midland, Texas, went to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, July 16, 2011, in Joplin, Mo. He was born Oct. 1, 1976 to Alejandro and Cynthia Torrez in Houston, Texas.
