The old saying goes that sometimes, you have to bow to the obvious — and it was obvious Tuesday night that the Snyder Tigers are a very good baseball team.
The Tigers dominated all phases of their district opener vs. Big Spring, running away with an 11-0 run rule victory over the Steers in Steer Park Tuesday evening.
The Big Spring Lady Steers would like to have a few innings back from their game against Snyder Tuesday afternoon.
Big Spring jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead, then watched as that advantage vanished under an avalanche of Lady Tiger runs during the course of an 11-4 Snyder victory in District 5-3A softball action at the Big Spring ISD softball complex.
The Lady Steers (13-14 overall, 1-1 in district action) scored the game's first two runs in the bottom of the first, taking advantage of four Snyder errors in the process.
