Idle Lady Steers clinch playoff spot

April 20, 2011

If Wylie had defeated Brownwood, it would have ended the season tied with Big Spring and forced an extra game with the Lady Steers to determine the district's final playoff representative.

“It was the most humbling and biggest honor of my life,” Townsend said. “It was completely unexpected.”
