A Snyder teen was killed early this morning following a one-vehicle rollover north of Big Spring, according to officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Tyler Lance Sawyer, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, approximately 12 miles north of Big Spring on Highway 350.
According to Operator Matt Cockerell with the regional DPS office in Midland, the accident occurred at approximately 1:46 a.m. when a south-bound 1998 Chevrolet sports utility vehicle driven by Sawyer left the road.

â€˘ KRYSTAL DYANNE HERRERA, 24, of 406 N. Fifth St. in Coahoma, was arrested Saturday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
â€˘ WILLIAM SCOTT SIMPSON, 48, of 1300 Stanford, was arrested Saturday on warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear.
â€˘ DANIEL VERA FLORES, 42, of 907 E. 15th St., was arrested Saturday on a warrant for assault by threat.
Big Spring Independent School District is finding other ways to make budget cuts without going to the employee chopping block.
Thursday, BSISD trustees approved contracts through the 2011-2012 for all professional employees.
“A lot of hard work went into making this possible,” Superintendent Steven Saldivar said following the meeting, which lasted only about a half-hour.

â€˘ MATTHEW ELISEO DELAGARZA, 19, of 1608 Young, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for speeding in a school zone.
â€˘ VERONICA MARIE ORTIZ, 28, of 800 W. Marcy Apt. 10, was arrested Thursday on a warrant for no safety belt.
Time is running out for Big Spring residents to register to vote in the May 14 municipal election, as the April 14 deadline is less than a week away.
With early voting set to begin May 2 and run through May 10, Howard County Elections Administrator Saundra Bloom said she and her team of election judges are gearing up for the political contests.
Rosendo "Toto" Robles, 59, of Big Spring died Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at a friend's residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
J.C. Woodard, 67, of Big Spring died Friday, April 8, 2011, at his residence. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Charles William "C.W." Brumley, 85, of Colorado City died Friday, April 8, 2011, in a local nursing home. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
Howard County volunteer firefighters had their hands full Wednesday, as a pair of wildfires threatened vast amounts of the Crossroads area.
The first fire, reported at approximately 12:50 p.m. near Glasscock County on Highway 821, destroyed more than 350 acres, according to Volunteer Fire Chief Tommy Sullivan.
