A Big Spring woman was killed early Sunday morning when the vehicle she was traveling in was involved in a crash on FM 700 near the entrance to Scenic Mountain Medical Center.
Deborah Ann Lewis, 46, was killed when the 2007 Nissan Maxima she was traveling in hit a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban head-on, according to law enforcement officials, with the accident reported just moments after midnight Sunday.
The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 9 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. today:
â˘ GUADALUPE HINOJOS, 38, of 707 Magnolia, was arrested Sunday on warrants for terroristic threat of a family/household and criminal mischief â more than $50 and less than $500.
â˘ DERRICK TODD DRAKE, 25, of 1515 Stadium, was arrested Sunday on charges of resisting arrest, search or transportation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
â˘ CINDY CHRANE CASPER, 50, of 2300 Lynn, was arrested Sunday on charges of resisting arrest, search or transportation and disorderly conduct â language.

Blitz Day ended the 2012 Big Spring and Howard County United Way campaign Friday afternoon. The campaign, which started Sept. 1, concluded after three months with an expected goal of $275,000 being exceeded. As of Friday afternoon, the total amount collected was $294,000.
âIt has been a wild ride, but we made it and ended up exceeding our numbers,â said Wayland Pierce, United Way president. âWe have surpassed our goal, ended on a good note and still have monies trickling in.â
