Rattler roundup this weekend

March 25, 2011

It's time for slithery, hissing creatures to take over the fairgrounds.

The 47th Annual Rattlesnake Roundup and Arts and Crafts Show and Flea Market is set for this weekend. The roundup will once again take place at the Howard County Fair Barns and feature professional snake handlers.

The snake shows, demonstrations and races begin at 10 a.m. and last until 6 p.m., on Saturday. Sunday the doors will be open from noon to 5 p.m. The arts and crafts show will run during the same time as the roundup.
