A new method of learning will be introduced Saturday.
“Reading and Spelling Pure and Simple,” written by local author Deede Cauley, will be featured at the Heritage Museum during a book signing from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
“I didn't plan on writing a book, it just kind of happened,” Cauley said.
The book is the product of an invitation to help four students learn to read. According to Cauley there was a short amount of time allotted to work with the students and she soon found herself rewriting lesson plans to accommodate what the children were needing to learn.
