Recent rains throughout the Crossroads area haven't just lent a green hue to lawns and trees, as officials with the Colorado River Municipal Water District say the rainfall has helped to replenish levels at its ailing reservoirs.
Heritage Museum is getting in the Halloween spirit.
The Vintage Halloween Costume exhibit is open through Halloween and will feature costumes and masks from the 1950s through the 1970s.
“Here at the museum, we are about reminiscing and we figured this was a great opportunity for parents to remember Halloween from when they were kids, while giving the children an opportunity to see what their parents wore for Halloween at their age,” Museum Curator Tammy Schrecengost said.
The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• OLIVIA ROSA RODRIGUEZ, 21, of 2609 Auburn, was arrested Tuesday on five warrants from other agencies.
• LYDIA MARIE HERNANDEZ, 18, of 1519 Wood, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for in park after dark (two counts).
• SERGIO DAVID ALVAREZ, 24, of 1002 N. Main St. Apt. 4, was arrested Tuesday on two warrants from other agencies.
• STEPHEN CORY WATERS, 30, of 2200 FM 820 in Coahoma, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction.
