The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
Note — The BSPD reported no arrests were made for the corresponding period.
• THEFT was reported:
In the 1000 block of E. Second Street.
In the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
In the 800 block of Rosemont.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth Street.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported:
In the 1200 block of S. Goliad.
In the 2000 block of Virginia.

That’s the question Howard and Glasscock Counties can expect to be hearing from Relay For Life members for 2013. The annual event is set for April 19-20 at Blankenship Field.
During the Community Kick-off for the 2013 Relay For Life, held Tuesday night in Garrett Hall at First United Methodist Church, the goals for the upcoming Relay were announced.

Shooting death investigation continues

Law enforcement officials with the Howard County Sheriff's Office say the investigation into the Oct. 27 shooting that claimed the life of one Big Spring man and injured another is still ongoing, as investigators try to piece together the events of the night.
