Public hearing set on proposed TxDOT bypass

Relief route access focus of public hearing

Design changes on a proposed truck relief route around Big Spring are the focus for a public hearing, set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Dora Roberts Community Center.
Specifically, the changes would make the roadway an uncontrolled access highway rather than a controlled access highway.

The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 9 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. today:
• SAMMEL RAY GRAY, 29, of 1905 Alabama, was arrested Sunday on warrants for possession/consumption of alcoholic beverage in the city park, disorderly conduct – language and resisting arrest, search or transportation.
