A Big Spring man was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with making a terroristic threat in connection with the Monday morning bomb threat at the Big Spring High School.
Jordan Weston Hamilton, 24, of 1007 E. 15th St., was arrested and charged with terroristic threat â€“ placing public in fear of serious bodily injury. As of the time of this report, Hamilton was being held in the custody of the Howard County Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
Texas Department of Transportation employees hosted a public hearing Tuesday evening at the Dora Roberts Community Center regarding recent changes to the US 87 truck relief route in Howard County.
Throughout the course of the evening, information was released regarding recent changes and the community was given the opportunity to view the schematics, environmental assessment and a tentative construction schedule.
The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
â€¢ ERIN CLEO STANSBURY, 30, of Lawton, Okla., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of marijuana â€“ two ounces or less.
â€¢ ANTHONY DELAGARZA, 47, of 1605 State, was arrested Tuesday on charges of shoplifting â€“ more than $50 and less than $500 and criminal trespass.
â€¢ JORDAN WESTON HAMILTON, 24, of 1007 E. 15th St., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of terroristic threat â€“ placing public in fear of serious bodily injury.
