The decision presented Monday night to Big Spring Economic Development Corporation board members was a hard one, according to Justin Myers, president of the BSEDC board, but it was one that had to be made.
“Hopefully this will be a one-time deal and our funding will be back up and we can continue to do economic development in 20 years after this agreement,” Myers said.
The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today:
• JOE ANGEL MARTINEZ, 49, of Magnolia Ave., was arrested Monday on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• JONATHAN FAZ, 25, of 607 Jones Apt. 1 in Seguin, was arrested Monday on a charge of public intoxication.
• ASHLEY LEE RAMOS, 27, of 1715 E. Highway 350, was arrested Monday on a warrant from another agency.
• ROXANA PAYAN, 22, of 8807 W. Cholla Circle in Odessa, was arrested Monday on a warrant for driving while intoxicated.
