A Big Spring man found guilty on multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child this week in 118th District Court was sentenced Thursday to serve 35 consecutive years in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice facility.
Ernesto Dutchover Garcia, 60, 1300 E. 11th Place, was found guilty by a jury on one count of indecency with a child and two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to Assistant District Attorney Robin Orr.
Lola Lamb has been intrigued by rocks since the 1970s, when her mother got her interested in the Big Spring Prospector's Club.

The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
â€˘ MICHAEL DALE PRESTON, 27, of 2100 Morrison, was arrested Thursday on charges of duty on striking unattended vehicle, driving while intoxicated â€“ third or more offense, evading arrest or detention with a vehicle with a previous conviction.
â€˘ LUIS ADOLFO PENA, 33, of 1105 E. 14th St., was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency.
â€˘ SAMANTHA CYBIL LINDQUIST, 26, of 1306 Tucson, was arrested Thursday on a charge of theft.
