Sexual assault indictments handed down

April 14, 2012

Sexual assault and drug cases dominated Thursday's session of the Howard County Grand Jury.
The grand jury returned a total of 28 felony indictments against 19 individuals during the session.
Among those true-billed were Albert Trevino Carrillo, 34, of 1500 Mesa in Big Spring, who was named in three indictments — one for first-degree aggravated sexual assault of a child and two for indecency with a child, both second degree felonies.
If convicted, Carrillo could face up to 99 years or life in prison for the aggravated sexual assault charge and up to 20 years on the indecency charges.
