STANTON — At least three times a year, the sleepy West Texas hamlet of Stanton becomes the epicenter of the shopping world. Old Sorehead Trade Days returns Saturday and Sunday.
According to officials with the city of Stanton, a dizzying array of vendors — hocking everything from antiques to the latest fashions — will descend on the town for the weekend-long event.
Organizers, however, say it's the food that draws many Crossroads residents to the event.
The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• ADAM ANTHONY STARR, 27, of 802 E. 14th St., was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency.
• KATHERINE DELORIS SCAGGS, 41, of 201 N. Scurry, was arrested Thursday on a warrant from another agency and warrants for failure to identify – giving false information and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• JUNIOR JONES, 25, of 1710 S. Austin, was arrested Thursday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid with a previous conviction.
