Trade Days opens Saturday

June 8, 2012

STANTON — At least three times a year, the sleepy West Texas hamlet of Stanton becomes the epicenter of the shopping world. Old Sorehead Trade Days returns Saturday and Sunday.

According to officials with the city of Stanton, a dizzying array of vendors — hocking everything from antiques to the latest fashions — will descend on the town for the weekend-long event.

Organizers, however, say it's the food that draws many Crossroads residents to the event.
