Atmos recently filed a proposed rate hike with the state railroad commission which, if approved, would increase the company's annual revenue by $12 million.
An appointment to the 911 Communications District board of directors is expected to highlight a routine meeting of the Howard County Commissioners Court Tuesday.
The meeting will convene at 10 a.m. Tuesday on the third floor of the county courthouse.
Howard County has two representatives, each of whom serve two-year terms, on the board. Also, the cities of Big Spring, Coahoma and Forsan all name representatives to the body.
