February 16, 2013

Big Spring High School art students are hoping to shine at this weekend's Visual Arts Scholastic Event regional meet in Odessa.

Seventeen BSHS students exhibiting a total of 30 works are entered in the regional meet, being held at Odessa Permian High School.

Students who medal at this weekend's meet advance to the state VASE exhibition, to be held in Bryan this March.

High School Art Teacher Judy Terelestsky said she believes many of her students' entries are state meet worthy.
