A Big Spring man died from injuries suffered in a one-vehicle accident in Midland early Sunday.
Midland Police Deparment officials say Robert “Tito” Vasquez II died early Sunday morning after he lost control of his vehicle while driving the wrong way down a one-way street.
The accident occurred just past midnight in the 500 block of W. Illinois, records state.

The public is invited to the dedication of the Russ McEwen Family Aquatic Center Wednesday morning.
The center will be renamed in honor of the former Big Spring mayor during ceremonies scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
City officials and members of McEwen's family are expected to attend the event.
Debbie Wegman, director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau, said Wednesday's dedication will not mark the opening of the center for the summer.
