A pair of executive sessions — one concerning county-owned property and one dealing with a personnel issue for the Howard County Sheriff's Office — await county commissioners Monday afternoon, as the court prepares to hold a special meeting.
The first executive session deals with real estate (county-owned property) pursuant to Texas Government Coade 551.072 and commissioners may take action on the matter once they return to open court.

A record 18 gold medals were won by BSHS choir students at the University Interscholastic League's Solo and Ensemble Contest, held earlier this week at the University of Texas in Austin, BSHS Choir Director Anna Gann said.
