Foul play not found in deaths of local women

The bodies of two Big Spring women who were discovered in the bathroom of their home Monday afternoon died of natural causes, according to law enforcement officials.

Autopsies on 83-year-old Helen Thomason and her daughter, 51-year-old Carol Thomason were performed Wednesday, according to officials with the Big Spring Police Department.

Howard College breaking ground for San Angelo expansion

SAN ANGELO — Growing pains ... not a bad thing to have at all if you are the San Angelo campus of Howard College.

Thanks to the record growth over the last several years, the campus is finally getting two new buildings. The official ground breaking is set for 4 p.m. Wednesday at the West Texas Training Center campus on U.S. Highway 67.
