Two killed on RR 33

GLASSCOCK COUNTY — Two people were killed and two injured late Monday in a three-vehicle crash about 10 miles north of Garden City.

According to traffic investigators, killed were 41-year-old Wilson “Tex” Edwards Jr., a graduate of Big Spring High School, and 30-year-old Alvis Linker of Duncan, Okla. The accident took place about 10:30 p.m. on Ranch Road 33.

Officials said the truck Edwards was driving crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Curtis Gaston of Big Spring. Gaston's vehicle went into the ditch and turned over.
