Kimberly Nalley of Big Spring and Bruce Finch of Lubbock, Texas will exchange wedding vows July 27, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas.
Kimberly is the daughter of John and Lynda Nalley and Belle and Bruce Schooler, all of Big Spring. She is a 2011 graduate of SWCID and is employed as office manager at Cornerstone Covenant Church.
Bruce is the son of Robert and the late Patsy Finch of Hart, Texas. He is a 2010 graduate of Wayland Baptist University and is a teacher at Slaton ISD.
Kathy Haro of Big Spring and Jeremy Hull of Stanton will exchange wedding vows Sept. 21, 2013, in Odessa, Texas. Kathy is the daughter of Henry and Delma Haro. She is a 2003 graduate of Big Spring High School. She attended Midland College where she majored in general studies. She is a 2007 graduate of Lubbock School of Aesthetics.
She is employed as a medical aesthetician at Medical Spa in Midland.
Ashley Cox, of Stanton, Texas and Matthew Van Pelt, of Vernon, Texas will exchange wedding vows at 2 p.m. July 6, 2013, at Trinity Baptist Church in Big Spring, Texas with a reception to follow.
Ashley attended Wayland Baptist University and is employed by Big Spring ISD at Marcy Elementary. She is the daughter of Billy and Stephanie Cox of Stanton, Texas and the granddaughter of Vernon and the late Anita Cox and Deanna and the late David Burnett.
Kynzie Leigh Oliver, a girl, was born June 12, 2013 at Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Big Spring, Texas. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 18 Âľ inches long. She is the daughter of Stephen and Natalie Oliver of Big Spring and the little sister of Kaden Oliver. Maternal grandparent is Cindy Lozano of Big Spring. Paternal grandparents are George and Becky Oliver of Big Spring, Texas and Alice and Don Moore of Fort Worth, Texas.
This year's Funtastic Fourth will be colorful to say the least. Along with the bright, color filled bursts in the night sky and the scintillance of the festival, art gallery I Think 219 will be adding a wholly different pallet to the event.
Owner, Ramon Holguin and curator, Andrew Bowman have invited 10 artists to participate in Through the Can, a painting party that will be a treat to spectators attending the festival.
Kindra Diane Matthews and Chad Aaron Tutle exchanged wedding vows at 6:30 p.m. June 8, 2013 on the banks of Dove Creek at Prueitt Park near San Angelo.The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Dukes of Sonora.
Matron-of-honor was Kizre Parks, sister of the bride of San Angelo, Texas. Bridesmaids included Krystal Soliz, Becky Flores and Hallie Sosolik, also of San Angelo.
Best man was Scott Tutle, brother of the groom, of Lubbock, Texas. Groomsmen included Erik Sosolik and Tom Jacoby, both of San Angelo and Jay Immel of Sonora.

Janie Harrison (Mrs. Rayford) has known for many years about a small cemetery north of Big Spring because her father had told her about it when she was in high school.
He showed her the small fenced area and said, â€śI want you to know about this so that it wonâ€™t be forgotten. We donâ€™t know who is buried here.â€ť
He called it the Phillips Cemetery because the Phillips family had owned the land at one time. The McCauleys owned the land before the Phillips family and Craig Ingram is the present owner, his father having purchased it from the Phillips.

Bailee Maria Rizo, a girl, was born Nov. 26, 2012, at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, weighing 7 pounds, 6.6 ounces. She was 19.5 inches long.
She is the daughter of Salvador and Crystal Rizo of Midland.
She is the granddaughter of James and Angie Worley and Juan Rizo and the late Maria Rizo, all of Big Spring.
She was welcomed into the world by brother Kingston Maddox Rizo.
Private Calvin McKee lay in an unmarked grave for 101 years until 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, when the Confederate Monument Dedication at Mt. Olive Cemetery brought 85 people â€” including 35 direct decendants â€” together to honor him.
The Sons of Confederate Veterans and Order of the Confederate Rose hosted the event.
