Leonard James “L.J.” Brown, 80, of Big Spring died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at Trinity Memorial Park with Trip Gibbs officiating.
November 6th
Alfred (Al) Wesley Milch, 90, formerly of Big Spring died Nov. 3, 2010. A celebration of life service will be held at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early, Texas, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010. His family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at the funeral home.
Martha Horelica, 72, of Baytown, formerly of Stanton died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at her residence. Visitation with family will be Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton. Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Stanton with Johnny Teague officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton.

Ellen Simer, 71, of Big Spring died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Hospice House in Odessa. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel with the Rev. Joel Miller and Chaplain Cherise Felty officiating.
Marilyn Gerene Carson, 72, of Big Spring died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at the Hospice House of Odessa. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Wade Cobb officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
