October 10th
Sadly, my beloved husband, our beloved father and grandfather, Floyd Martin, 79 years old, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011. He was surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren and friends during his last days.
Ken Harris, 70, of Big Spring, formerly of San Angelo, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at his residence. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at Myers & Smith Chapel with Chaplain Scott Jimenez officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Trinity Memorial Park.
Robert Lebkowsky, 84, of El Paso, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, in El Paso. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
Gary F. Thurman, 65, of Sand Springs, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 in a local hospital. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.

Kenneth Harris, 70, of Big Spring died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at his residence. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Bruce Shockley, 62, of Big Spring died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Hospice House in Odessa. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.

Lucille E. Barton, 94, of Artesia, N.M., formerly of Forsan, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, in Artesia, N.M. Graveside memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at Trinity Memorial Park, with Kenneth Garcia of 11th and Birdwell Lane Church of Christ officiating.
She was born Jan. 27, 1917, in Lloyd, Texas, and married Arthur David Barton on Jan. 13, 1940 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 2005.
Lucille was a member of Birdwell Lane Church of Christ and a former member of the Forsan School Board. She was a homemaker.
David O. Perez, 61, of Houston, formerly of Big Spring, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
October 5th
Jerry Neil Easterling, 75, of Big Spring, passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Chaplain Scott Jimenez of the Big Spring Veterans Administration Hospital officiating, assisted by Lt. Col. (ret) Vaughn Martin. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park with full military honors.
A visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.Â
Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 4, 2011, Modehn Wyatt, 94, stepped into the loving arms of her heavenly father. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Ken McMeans officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. at Littlefield Cemetery in Littlefield, Texas.
