Ralph Edward McLaughlin, age 84, passed away Monday evening, Nov. 14, 2011, at the Palliative Care Unit at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, following a brief illness. He was surrounded by friends and family.
Ralph, the son of Marvin and Salome Bledsoe McLaughlin, was born on April 6, 1927 in Ralls, Texas. He graduated from Kemper Military High School in 1944 and served briefly in the Army before entering Texas Tech, where he graduated with a degree in finance in 1949.
Petra “Pat” Arguello of Coahoma died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at her residence. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Big Spring with the Rev. Tom Koger, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Coahoma, officiating.
Jacob Anthony Arguello, 9, of Coahoma, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at his residence. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Big Spring with the Rev. Tom Koger, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Coahoma, officiating.
Randy Gambrell, 61, of Coahoma, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
He was born June 6, 1950 in Matador, Texas to Isabell and Buddy Gambrell. He has been a resident of Big Spring since 1983. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He married Melanie Carr on Nov. 28, 1985 in Carson, Iowa. He was a contract pumper and was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie Gambrell of Coahoma; his mother, Isabel Gambrell of Forsan, one brother, Richard Gambrell and wife Tissie of Amarillo; two nieces and one nephew.
Jeanine Huskey, 75, of Big Spring, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at her residence. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.
She was born Sept. 22, 1936 to Sarah and T.E. Osborne in McComb, Miss. She married Alvin Huskey III on Dec. 25, 1973 in Sand Springs. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2011.
