Deborah De Ax, 56, of Big Spring, died Saturday. Her services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Bob Miears, 67, of Big Spring, died on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Chaplain Dean Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

Susan Ann Cassidy, 53, of Amarillo died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011. Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Bell Ave. Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Logan, pastor, officiating.
Della Annie Davis Brooks, 93, of Loop, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at her daughter's home in Coahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at the Loop Baptist Church in Loop, with Brother James Shelton, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Loop Cemetery.
Kathy Barg, 61, of Big Spring died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Memorial services will be at 1:45 p.m. Sunday at East Side Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Shelley and the Rev. Jeff Davison officiating.

Grover C. Shanks Jr. died Jan. 5, 2011. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Sunset Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, with Johnny Touchstone, Edmond Wheeles and Weeks DuBose officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Cemetery at 3 p.m. Saturday in Big Spring.
Della Brooks, 93, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at her daughter's home. Her services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.

Erlinda Gonzales, 48, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at Hospice House in Odessa. Vigil services will be at 8 Pp.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial at Trinity Memorial Park.
Al Valdes Sr., 83, of Kingsland, formerly of Big Spring, passed away Jan. 4, 2011. He was born in Havana, Cuba and immigrated to the United States in 1946 to play professional baseball.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday Jan. 8, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church in Big Spring. An online guest register may be signed at www.putnamfunerals.com.

Peggy Willis, 62 of Midland, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 1. A private family service was held on Jan. 4.
