Billie Strickland, 67, of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with L.C. "Trip" Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at the funeral home.
Rita M. Baker, 97, of Coahoma, died Monday, March 28, 2011, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Chaplain Cherise Felty with Home Hospice officiating. Interment will follow at the Coahoma Cemetery.
Enedina “Olivia” Luevano Guzman, 68, formerly of Big Spring, died Friday 25, 2011, at her home in El Monte, Calif. Vigil services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Calif. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with burial at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
Lee Freeze, 82, of Big Spring died Monday, March 28, 2011, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with burial at Trinity Memorial Park.
Lupe Lara, 64, of Big Spring died Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at his residence. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
