Teresa Phillips Darden, 44, of Dallas, formerly of Big Spring died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at her residence. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Leroy E. Pearl, 85, of Big Spring passed on to glory peacefully at his home Sunday morning, April 3, 2011, with his partner, Thelma Roberts, by his side. A memorial service is scheduled at the Church of Christ in London, Texas, at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2011.
Bobby Sumner, 62, of Big Spring died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Martin County Hospital. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2011, at Life Church with Pastor Clint Collins officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Mount Olive Memorial Park.

C.H. Arrick Jr., 77, of Odessa, formerly of Big Spring died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, in an Odessa nursing home. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
April 1st
Eloise Fain Watkins, 90, of Big Spring died Wednesday, March 30, 2011, in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Joey Bacon, the Rev. Gene Jones and the Rev. Gary Bacon. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
Robert F. Cathcart, 76, of Big Spring died Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in a local hospital. Private services will be held.
Manuela M. Hernandez, 90, died Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
