SAN ANGELO — L.D. Whitton Sr., 75, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away Friday, Aug. 19, 2011. Visitation was held Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, with family present from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2011, at Edmund Blvd. Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Garden. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way.
Dorothy Stripling, 81, of Big Spring, died Monday, August 22, 2011, at her residence. Her services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.
