Anna Smith, 95, of Big Spring passed away Sept. 4, 2011, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Darrell Hendrickson officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Olive Cemetery.
Jose Angel “Matita” Mata, 82, of Big Spring died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Vigil Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Msgr. Bernard L. Gully officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
Ervin Lester Bridge, 85, of Lomax died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, in a local hospital. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. David Harp officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
Aimee Wallace Aragon, 41, of Elkhart, formerly of Big Spring died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, in Tyler, Texas. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Big Spring. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
