Brenda Tingley, 66, of Big Spring died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at her residence. Her services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.

Dan J. Lewis, a resident of Lubbock since 1970, passed away at home on Sept. 25, 2011, following a lengthy illness. He was 88 years old. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 3:30 p.m. at Lubbock City Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
Jacquie Kirkendoll, 56, of Big Spring died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at her residence. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at Myers & Smith Chapel with the Rev. Roy Roberson officiating.

Claudine Karnes, 85, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, at her residence. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Clyde James “Jimmy” Bailey Jr., 65, of Big Spring died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at Hospice House in Odessa. No services are planned.
He was born Sept. 24, 1945, in Lamesa to Opal and Clyde Bailey Sr. He grew up in Lamesa and lived most of his life in Albuquerque, N.M., and Hot Springs, Ark. He was a retired car salesman.
He is survived by one sister, Phyllis Smith of Big Spring; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Lena Ellen Click Heard, 92, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Chris Heard of Moorpark, Calif., and Robert Thompson of Big Spring officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
Joe A. Lopez, 75, of Midland, formerly of Big Spring died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, in a Midland hospital. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
