Edwinna Vincent Carr went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village in Odessa, Texas. She was surrounded by her three daughters, Sidney Arrick of Odessa, Texas, Mariless Frazier of Tarpley, Texas, and llameta Moore of Landrum, S.C., and her son-in-law, John Arrick of Odessa, and her long-time nurse, Sharon Fowler, who became a part of her family.
Scott Andrew Woolverton, 48, of Lusby, Md., formally of Big Spring, Texas, passed away suddenly Dec. 7, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Leonardtown, Md.
Scott was born Sept. 16, 1963, in Big Spring, Texas, to the late Raymond James and Mary Lou Chagnon Woolverton.
Scott was employed as parts manager for Fitzgerald Auto Mall of Lexington Park, Md.
Jackie Faye Bowden, 78, of Big Spring, died Monday, December 12, 2011 in a local nursing home. Her services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.

Paul Lindell, 62, of Big Spring died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at Hospice House in Odessa. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Church of God with Charles Harrington officiating.
Doris Lewis, 62, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at her residence. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Pastor Holston Banks of Shiloh House of Praise and the Rev. Gary Peterson officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
