Charlene Birdwell, 80, of Big Spring, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, in a local hospital. Her services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
January 20th
James Richard Doggett left his uncooperative earthly body behind and went to join many beloved family members and friends in Heaven on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Downtown Church of Christ with Van Pendergrass officiating and Kendall Tomlinson assisting. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m.
James Edward Brooks died Jan. 18, 2011, in Austin. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22 at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mildred “Millie” Sevey, 84, of Big Spring, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at Select Specialty Hospital in Midland. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel with the Rev. Joel Miller and Pastor Johnnie Sevey officiating. Burial will be at Gail Cemetery in Gail.
Alvin Gluege, 83, of Big Spring died in Lubbock on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011. His remains were graciously accepted by Texas Tech University School of Medicine. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
Mary Alice Anderson, 85, of Big Spring died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at her residence. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.

Bentura Saldana, 62, of Big Spring, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Burial will be held Thursday at Roaring Springs Cemetery in Roaring Springs.

David E. Clinkscales, 56, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, in a Carlsbad, N.M., hospital. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.

Ernie Leroy Justice passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at his residence at the age of 58. Visitation is Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Nalley Pickle and Welch Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park. All friends are invited to meet us there for a celebration of his life.
