Theresa LuAnn Hood, 71, of Salem, Ind., died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital of Salem.
She was born Oct. 17, 1941, in Big Spring, Texas, to Curtis and Elma Hood. She was a member of the Nazarene Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra Mauldin Malone of Parker, Kan.; son, Joey Van Mauldin of Salem, Ind.; brother, Larry Hood of McKinney, Texas; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery's Rock Chapel in Big Spring at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.
Hermerejildo "Herman" "Mere" Orosco Sr., 91, of Big Spring died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at the Nallely-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
He was born April 13, 1921, in Pecos, Texas, and married Eusebia Carrasco on Jan. 17, 1944, in Big Spring, Texas.
Lucy Narbaiz Ochoa, 71, of Big Spring died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in a Lubbock hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with a vigil service to follow at 7 p.m.
Tommy Lou Knight passed into the loving, waiting arms of our Lord and Savior on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Midway Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Binnix officiating.
Lou was born May 19, 1941, to Tommy and Opal Coleman. She married her sweetheart, Sam Harrison Knight, on Nov. 19, 1958. Lou and Sam moved in 1993 from Hobbs to Big Spring, where they've made their home since.
