C.L. (Cleo) Carlile, 75, of Big Spring and Hawaii went to his eternal home Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. Greg Hall, president of Warner University, Lake Wales, Fla., officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
Opal Cluck, 89, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at the Ackerly Cemetery in Ackerly, Texas, with Derrick Looney officiating.
She was born Oct. 16, 1923, in Morgan, Texas, and married Norman William Cluck on Aug. 22, 1942, in Old Glory, Texas. He preceded her in death March 11, 1997.
Opal was a longtime resident of Ackerly and was a farmer's wife. She enjoyed crafts, especially making personalized cards and never missed anyone's anniversary or birthday.
James B. Hodnett, 66, of Big Spring died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, in a local hospital. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
Elias "Lee" Munoz, 77, of Big Spring died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at his residence. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
Clifford Hale Jr., born Nov. 29, 1926, went to be with his precious Lord on Nov. 24, 2012 â€” unable to wait another four days until he turned 86 â€” to be with his precious wife of nearly 60 years, Wynelle Franklin Hale.
Clifford, also known as Cliff or Jr., was born in Waco, Texas, to Lilly and Clifford Hale and was raised from age 14 by his beloved stepfather, Bob Spence. At age 17 â€” exaggerating his age by a year â€” Cliff decided he needed to join the Army with thousands of others, ready to defend our country in World War II.
Charles Wayne Gilbert, 63, of Stanton died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Evergreen Cemetery with Bill Bridges officiating.
Charles was born Nov. 23, 1949, in Lonestar, Ark., and married Deborah Ann Sherrod on Oct. 15, 2002, in Stanton, Texas.
Daniel (Danny) Gene Martin Moses, 39, of Big Spring died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, in Big Spring. Family memorial services will be held at a later date.
He was born Feb. 11, 1973, in Abilene, Texas, to Sharon Dee (Bardwell) and Alvin Lynn Moses. He grew up in Abilene and moved to Big Spring in 2009. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Moses of Big Spring; father, Alvin Moses of Abilene; two cousins; several aunts and uncles and a great-aunt.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Edna Mae Cates and Betty Jewel Moses.

Boyd Don Batla, 28, of San Antonio, Texas passed into eternity on Nov. 23, 2012, at his home. He was born April 18, 1984, in Rankin, Texas to Garry and Darla Batla.
Boyd was a proud graduate of Garden City High School, where he excelled in a variety of sports and other UIL activities. As a crowning high school accomplishment, Boyd earned the recognition of valedictorian for the class of 2002. He continued his education at Texas Tech University, where he graduated an avid Red Raider fan with academic honors added to his list of achievements.
John J. Eckley, 81, of Big Spring, Texas, died Nov. 20, 2012, at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, N.D., with the Rev. Shane Campbell as celebrant. Burial will be at the North Dakota Veteranâ€™s Cemetery south of Mandan, with military honors provided by the VFW Post No. 707 and American Legion Post No. 40.
