Patsy Baird, 75, of Big Spring, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, in a local nursing home after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Private interment will follow at a later date at Trinity Memorial Park.
She was born Aug. 27, 1937, in Vincent, Texas and married James Baird Nov. 24, 1956, in Big Spring, Texas.
She was a lifelong resident of Big Spring and was a member of Birdwell Lane Church of Christ.
Maria Linda Vera, 56, of Midland, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, in Stanton. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Bautista Calvario Church in Stanton. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
The family received friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton.
Survivors include a sister, Sally Ochoa of Midland; and brothers Jose Vera of Big Spring and Marcelo Vera.
